I have a bunch of tomatoes now, but I am concerned that they won't ripen all of the way before it starts getting cold. I may end up having to make fried green tomatoes!
I didn't get as much basil as I was hoping for. Three of the 6 plants got diseased. The healthy plants started to flower so I had to go ahead and harvest them. I was hoping to have enough to freeze pesto for winter and that didn't happen. It is still super satisfying to eat a meal cooked with your own home grown ingredients.
